How Can severe Buttock Pain After Back Surgery Be Treated?

Hi I am having incredible butt pain only on the right side. Need to heal from home. I had major back surgery 2 months ago. I walk everyday. But now I can t do stairs walk up inclines. best upon waking in the morning. Afterr sitting the worst. I need to know if hot or cold is better for helping healing. and how else I can fix this Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry to hear of your pain. There is no problem is using heat or cold compressions after 2 months of surgery.

You can use it for the pain. You can also use some painkiller like ibuprofen 2 tablets.

However if the pain is not controlled or if you have any weakness you should see your doctor.
